What this service is for

Kinloop helps a parent or guardian set device rules, show a child how much time remains, and let the child ask for more time. The child device clearly shows that it is managed.

Data we use

We use guardian account details, family and child profile details, enrolled device identifiers, threshold-derived category time totals, rule changes, approval records, push-routing tokens, and security audit events. The App Store release does not collect precise location.

A child’s typed request reason is visible only while the request is pending. It is removed when the request is approved, denied, or expires. Notification payloads never contain that text.

Data we deliberately do not keep

Kinloop does not keep browsing history, individual visited domains, message content, email content, precise location, or a parent-readable list of apps selected through Apple Screen Time. Apple’s opaque activity selection stays in the child device’s App Group and is never uploaded. Kinloop does not request the separate Family Activity data entitlement.

Retention and control

Delivered notification metadata is removed after seven days. Category totals use the retention period shown for the family’s plan. Account data remains until the owning record or account is deleted. The family owner can export the family record and permanently delete the household from Settings. If paid billing was active, deletion retains only opaque provider and operation identifiers needed to cancel or expire the exact billing resource; completed termination records are removed within 30 days. An invited guardian can instead delete only their own account, sessions, push registrations, consent, and accepted invitation. Withdrawing consent follows the same role-scoped deletion path.
